About Us

At our core, we are built on lived experience, resilience, and a deep passion for giving back. As a former teen parent, our founder understands firsthand the challenges, obstacles, and triumphs that come with navigating parenthood at a young age. This journey is what inspired the creation of our foundation, to provide the kind of support, guidance, and opportunities that can truly change lives.
Our mission is to empower teen parents by offering resources that promote growth, confidence, and long-term success. We are committed to supporting young parents through educational funding opportunities, mental health resources, financial literacy guidance, self-care initiatives, and parenting classes.
We believe that with the right support system, every young parent has the ability to build a strong future for themselves and their children. Our goal is not only to provide assistance, but to uplift, inspire, and equip individuals with the tools they need to become the best version of themselves, both as parents and as people.
Together, we are building a stronger, more supportive community, one family at a time.
Jessica Linn knows firsthand the challenges that come with becoming a teen parent. Faced with obstacles at a young age, she chose to turn adversity into motivation, working hard, overcoming difficult moments, and building a life rooted in resilience, faith, and determination. Today, she is the proud mother of three beautiful adult children and a loving grandmother, and she dedicates the JMLinn Foundation to them and to the future generations she hopes to inspire.
Family has always been at the center of Jessica’s life. She is deeply grateful for the love and support of her family and friends, whose encouragement has helped shape her journey. The initials “JML” also hold a special meaning, as they are shared with her father and brother, both of whom have passed away. Their memory continues to inspire her every day, and this foundation is a way to honor their legacy while creating one of her own for her children, granddaughter, family and community.
Through her own experiences as a teen parent, Jessica discovered her passion for helping others who may feel overlooked, unsupported, or weighed down by the hardships life has handed them. She created the JMLinn Foundation with one mission in mind: to change lives and create opportunities for teen parents and youth who have been dealt a harder set of cards than most.
The foundation is built on the belief that circumstances do not define a person’s future. Every young parent and every child deserves support, encouragement, education, and the chance to grow into the best version of themselves. Through scholarships, mentorship, resources, mental health support, financial literacy, parenting education, and community outreach, Jessica hopes to be the reason a young person experiences a turning point in life, a moment where they realize they are capable, supported, and never alone.
Her story is proof that struggles can become strength, and that one person’s vision can create lasting change for generations to come.
